  • Assist Project Management, Project Coordination and Superintendents with planning and coordinating jobs from start to finish, including, but not limited to, hands on work whenever required
  • Provide support for the project team by operating equipment, lifting, moving, and performing various labor tasks as needed
  • Lead and monitor the field safety operations and ensure OSHA policies are being followed without compromise
  • Demonstrate flexibility in being able to move to alternate jobsites to cover for other team members in order to maintain project continuity across all work
  • Provide on-time, complete and detailed paperwork, reports, and project updates
  • Ensure the jobsite is always kept in a clean and organized manner
  • Open and close jobsites to ensure security of AJV assets and the overall safety of the project site


  • 5+ years of experience in civil/heavy construction
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, scopes of work and any and all related construction documents
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication; must be fluent in English
  • Safety Certifications
  • Maintain an outstanding Union membership
  • Flexibility to work various schedules


  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, crouching and crawling
  • Full time position
